Questions

Craig has been keeping a list of questions folks have asked, and we hope to list these questions (and the answers, as best we can know) here. Soon.

Feel free to send us your questions, here.  We’ll do the best we can to answer them.

  • Which chemo drugs will you get?
    Carboplatin + Taxol

  • How so I “subscribe” to this blog?
Click the little orange RSS Feed symbol over there –> .

(most folks use their email RSS folder to read these, or if your smart-phone handles RSS, that would work too)

  • What sort of “stuff” does Beth have you drinking?
Mostly freshly juiced vegetable juices and water with added high pH water drops.  The goal is to de-acidify her body (using the theory that cancer does not like a high pH environment) and to give her the best possible vegetable nutrition in the easiest-to-consume method—juice.  Craig has taken this monumental task on, making sure Tammi has fresh juice most every day.  I also have her on the Budwig Diet (the goal of which is to introduce oxygen to the cancer cells, which kills ’em dead).  And a few other supplements to support her immune system while the chemo is poisoning her tumors.  And if those don’t work, I’ve got plenty more I’m waiting to try on her, dammit. 🙂

  • When is surgery?
The treatment plan Tammi is on is a 3-phase program (chemo, surgery, chemo).  Surgery is currently scheduled for April 25, assuming that the check-up on April 18th determines that we’re ready to go forward with surgery.  Stay tuned!

  1. Tammi says:

She’s changed up my morning coffee to a warm cup of water with 1 tsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. of molasses. Some days this tastes great, other days….not so much. It is supposed to be making my body alkaline and not the acidic state that the chemo drugs create in my body.

Better tell them about the Cantron, Beth. That’s pretty interesting stuff, and after I started taking that, two weeks ago, my budding nausea vanished, my skin tone got much better (it had been going for a lovely shade of parchment, that just wasn’t doing much for me) and I just felt GOOD all of a sudden. So, whatever that strange stuff is, I could give testimonials.
